A provisional framework for analyzing laws and policies that affect sex workers

A framework of sex work related laws by The Law & Policy Project at Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University.

Few systematic accounts of sex work related laws have ever been published perhaps because language, tools and resources for gathering relevant data have never been in place. This paper is an attempt to systematically list and categorise the laws that affect sex workers in different countries into a framework.
